This is Fowler BB Ploughing engine no14375 of 1917 a 16nhp compound right hand engine seen at a very wet ploughing match sept2010

Hi Paul, my type of machine... built for functionality! When it is that wet does it sink far in the mud when ploughing (as I assume the weight of the engine is a bit higher than modern tractors)?

The weight in working order of this type engine is about 21tons they do sink in a bit but the wide wheels do help to spread the weight and with spuds fitted to the rear wheels traction can be achieved to get out of the hole
